My name is, as you may have guessed, Ian Barker and I am a web desginer who lives in Exeter, Devon. I undertake web and graphic design contracts.
This is my testing server, which will have some of the current projects that i'm working on.

  Been working for Createanet since the end of April as a PHP developer. I haven't really had time to update this site at all...

  Been learning to do AJAX, my test is here. I'll use it in the next project that I can to make it do some cool stuff, maybe with iframes too.

  I've finally got around to updating this news thing, but I still haven't really got any news. Should really update the current projects too, but I've haven't been developing anything particularly interesting lately so I won't.

  Have finished Frox Bridal Boutique, some designs for the Old Firehouse, a CMS ready design for California Campers, Roomers and TORS are finally finished.

  Have changed this site a bit to make it xhtml 1.0 and CSS valid
  Also found this thing called claimID where you which seems quite interesting.

  Been working Patriot International a site for a close protection agency and Purple Balm some kind of recruitment agency for care workers.

  Haven't updated this in ages again.
  Have been working on Ware Edwards, a letting agent, and still Pinpoint, the bowling proshop and clothing shop, which is a flash based dynamic site.
  Also working on SW1 who are an advertising agency.
  Had to take my car in for it's MOT today, which sucked as it's gonna cost a load of money so that it can pass a bunch of mostly pointless tests just so the government thinks that it's safe to drive.

  Creating page turning flash animation that can dynamically load page images based on input from a PHP file.

  Completed a design for Badger Southwest
  Made updates to various sites.

  Have been working mostly on 7G and the Maiden & Mistress intro movie.
  Also a single page site for ABK Aerials.

  Have got this site hosted on a proper hosting company. I decided on fasthosts as they are the company used by triple-8, who I have worked for. They always seemed reliable, and they have php support, for reasonable price.

  Have got a G5 Mac, and have now copied everything over to it, ready to start work this week!

  This is the first bit of news to be added to the site, here i'll write stuff that i've been working on or whatever, kind of like a blog i suppose.

  Have changed my webserver from IIS to apache as IIS kept crashing when trying to open pages with lots of images
